Aperture:

In this image


aperture is shown to be shallow as it presents a small area of focus

However here, this is an example of a deep aperture as its capturing a larger area in focus showing everything to be sharp and clear

White balance

Here the white balance is shown to be set to a cool tone as the image primarily features colder colours

Shutter speed

In this image the shutter speed had been open longer as you can clearly see the blur effect of the dress

This image here is very grainy which shows that the picture has been digitally brightened by a significant amount

SCENARIO

Here as one of our first group tasks we have had to make a film and edit a scenario based on some friends meeting, and they stumble across a mysterious object
Here is our twist on the storyline:
Two friends meet one from a poorer background and one from a richer background, strange man give a magic rock that grants good luck onto the person that possesses it they originally agree to share but soon argue over who should have it and the richer person kills the poorer one so they can be the only one to control it

As this was our first ever time filming together and editing a piece as a group i don’t think it went as bad as it could have done! Summer work 2020

PHOTOGRAPHY For photography I used the software app Picsart For my first image I took a photo of a painting of a tree I had made. I then edited it to create a yellow hue which also darkened the background and gave it a nice contrast between yellow and purple, however I did then decrease the saturation a slight bit as changing the hue has made the painting look quite warm toned and so I wanted to try and cancel that out. To add depth I  increased the shadows of the photo and increased the highlights This is the original : This is a photo I took whilst in a sweet shop on holiday in wales, as soon as I walked into the shop I knew I wanted to try and edit a photo of the setting, this is probably my favourite as I love all the colours, again I increased the hue to have a more pink tone with I think created quite a nice aesthetic and allowed the colours to blend a bit better.
