Graphic design film poster

  task 1:

in this task we had to crop a photo of an elephant and place in in another image of a street scene, for this some of the tools I used include the quick selection tool, refine tool and the elliptical marquee tool, out of all the tasks I think I struggled with this the most but for a first attempt at photoshop I'm pleased with the outcome


task 2: for this task we had to place an image of someones head over a photo of Ed Sheeran to make it look like it was their head, the main tool I used for this was the clone stamp tool which originally was quite confusing to use but I picked it up quite quickly

Task 3: here we had to put two photos together to create a movie poster type result, I think this task came out with the best result and quickly learnt how to use the gradient tool and named it "2000 miles" representing that love has no bounds

Summer work 2020

PHOTOGRAPHY For photography I used the software app Picsart For my first image I took a photo of a painting of a tree I had made. I then edited it to create a yellow hue which also darkened the background and gave it a nice contrast between yellow and purple, however I did then decrease the saturation a slight bit as changing the hue has made the painting look quite warm toned and so I wanted to try and cancel that out. To add depth I  increased the shadows of the photo and increased the highlights This is the original : This is a photo I took whilst in a sweet shop on holiday in wales, as soon as I walked into the shop I knew I wanted to try and edit a photo of the setting, this is probably my favourite as I love all the colours, again I increased the hue to have a more pink tone with I think created quite a nice aesthetic and allowed the colours to blend a bit better.
